How market cap and price relate
Market cap is the price times the circulating supply. So the price at a target market cap is target ÷ circulating supply, and a target price implies a market cap of price × circulating supply.
Supply comes from CoinGecko and changes over time as new coins are issued or burned. The comparison table shows what the coin would cost at each other coin's current market cap, which is a quick reality check for price targets.

Questions
What is market cap in crypto?
The total value of all coins in circulation: the price of one coin multiplied by how many are circulating. It is a better way to compare coins than price alone, because supplies differ by billions.
Why can't a cheap coin easily reach $1,000?
Because of its supply. A coin with 100 billion units in circulation would need a $100 trillion market cap to reach $1,000, far more than all crypto combined.
What is fully diluted market cap?
The market cap if the maximum supply were already in circulation. When it is much higher than the current market cap, future issuance could weigh on the price.
