About Cryptocurrencies.rocks
Free, simple crypto calculators that answer practical questions with real price history instead of guesses: what a plan would have returned, what a trade made, what you paid on average.
The tools
- DCA calculatorBacktest buying a coin on a schedule with real daily prices.
- If you had investedWhat $1,000 in a coin would be worth today, for every year since it listed.
- Profit calculatorProfit or loss on a trade, with fees and the break-even price.
- Average cost calculatorYour average buy price across several purchases.
- Staking calculatorHow staking rewards compound over the years.
- Savings goal calculatorHow long monthly buys take to reach a goal, like 0.1 BTC.
How the numbers are made
Real daily prices
Every backtest uses daily closing prices in USD from Coinbase Exchange's public market data, going back to when each coin was listed there.
Computed in your browser
The calculators run on your device. What you type isn't sent to our servers; it only goes into the page address so you can share a result.
Kept up to date
Price history is refreshed every week, and the latest days are fetched straight from Coinbase when you open a calculator.
What the tools don't do
- They don't include taxes, spreads, withdrawal fees or slippage, only the trading fee you enter.
- They don't predict anything. Past returns, especially in crypto, can be very different from future ones.
- They aren't financial advice, and nobody here knows your situation. Use them to understand and compare, then decide for yourself.
Coins covered
10 coins with daily history, the longest starting Jul 20, 2015. Each one has its own DCA calculator and "if you had invested" pages.
