How the time to your goal is calculated
Each month, your monthly amount buys amount ÷ price coins. The months add up until your holding reaches the goal. If you enter a yearly price change, the price moves a little every month, so later buys get more or fewer coins.
A rising price makes a coin-based goal take longer, but the coins you already bought are worth more. Starting from today's price, the result ignores fees and assumes you buy every month.

Questions
How long does it take to stack 0.1 BTC?
It depends on the price and your budget. At $80,000 per bitcoin, $200 a month reaches 0.1 BTC in about 40 months if the price stays flat. Try your own numbers above.
Should the goal be in coins or dollars?
A goal in coins measures how much of the asset you own; a goal in dollars measures value. Many long-term holders set coin goals, like a whole bitcoin or 0.1 BTC.
What yearly price change should I use?
Zero gives a simple baseline. Positive or negative values show how the timeline changes if prices rise or fall, but no one knows the future price.
