How the trades are calculated
The calculator adds up your holdings plus any new money, then multiplies that total by each target percentage. The difference between that target and what you hold now is the amount to buy or sell. Coin amounts use the latest daily close.
Adding new money lets you rebalance by buying the underweight assets instead of selling the overweight ones, which can avoid fees and taxes on sales. Exchange fees and spreads make real trades slightly different.

Questions
How often should I rebalance a crypto portfolio?
Common approaches are on a schedule, like every quarter, or when a holding drifts more than 5 to 10 percentage points from its target. Rebalancing too often adds fees without much benefit.
Does rebalancing improve returns?
Not necessarily. It keeps your risk where you chose, by trimming what has run up and adding to what has fallen. In a long rally it usually lowers returns compared with letting the winner run.
Should I include stablecoins or cash?
If you keep some money aside for buying dips or for safety, yes. Add it as cash so the calculator counts it in the total.
